Fishing with Dad

Earlier this week Becky needed a break, so I decided to get out of the house with the girls. I decided to use the fishing license I bought last year and haven't used much. The girls and I packed up and headed up to Spanish Fork Reservoir. It is a great place to go with young kids because it is easy to catch fish and close. We had a blast and each of us caught a fish. Here are the girls holding up some of the fish.

Camie caught the second fish and when I was trying to remove the hook, I got a big suprise. It apparently was a very fertile fish and was full of eggs. The eggs started falling all over the ground. The girls thought it was the coolest thing and they were picking them up. Luckily they are to young to ask any questions and thought that it was cool. Here is a picture of the eggs since I know all of you were wondering what trout eggs look like!

Anyways, we had a great time. Nothing better than spending time with the kids and not having my pager go off.

Is Camie's hair straight now? Or was it just for the day? Cute girls!

Camie's hair is still curly when she gets it wet but it will get straight if we don't put gel or anything in it.

I can't believe you let all those fish eggs go! They pay big bucks for that stuff in fancy places...I think they call it caviar! ;)
